We are looking for a talented Marine Marketing Communications Manager to join our team specializing in Communications Management for our Corporate/ CBS Segment in Indianapolis/IN / your remote home office.

+ Plans, manages and produces communications and related materials to meet Cummins strategies and objectives.

+ Manages, coaches and mentors professional/hourly staff; provides guidance and direction, delegates work appropriately.

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**

+ College, university, or equivalent degree in communications, marketing, or a related subject required.

+ MBA, Master’s in Communications, Master’s in Marketing, or equivalent degree highly preferred.

**Experience**

+ Digital experience preferred (emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, paid vs. organic, advertising content).

+ Graphic design skills, visual communications channel capabilities preferred.

+ Global perspective and experience preferred.

+ Client/account management preferred.

+ System integration/account management for marketing roles preferred.

+ 6 Sigma, Value Stream Transformation, continuous improvement experience preferred.

+ B2B experience preferred.

+ This role supports the Industrial markets within the Power Systems Business Unit. Industrial markets are complex and require a strategic thinker with Marcom experience to be able to develop and execute strategic integrated marketing plans, support various key stakeholders and work cross functionally and regionally.

+ The individual in this role will be responsible for creating the marketing strategy and objectives for the market segment(s) in line with the business objectives, as well as identifying and leading the execution of key tactics tied to the marcom objectives at a global scale. They will be in control of the budget allocated to the tactical plan and responsible for forecast accuracy. This role requires understanding and experience of a broad range of marketing / communications tactical tools both current and experiential. Tactics / campaigns that fall within the responsibility of this individual include (but is not limited to) trade shows and events, advertising, sales enablement, product launches, web presence and updates, and more. The individual will lead the reporting and metrics associated with the integrated marketing plan and is responsible for reporting back to the markets on all campaign activity. They will be responsible for acting as a brand champion and custodian for the market segment(s), and develop, create and drive key messaging. The individual in the role will be the main point of contact for key leaders/ stakeholders globally, and will be responsible for decision making, conflict resolution, stakeholder management and more.

**Compensation and Benefits**

+ Base salary range is $97,600-$146,400 and will commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
