About Mr. Coleman's Class

Mr. Coleman's Class is an independent learning hub for IB Business Management students and teachers. I'm Dave Coleman, a classroom teacher in Livermore, California, and I build and curate the resources here. I created the site to help my students connect business ideas to practical decisions and develop confidence through regular practice.

The site supports both Standard Level and Higher Level study. The blog explains marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, operations, and strategy through business breakdowns and fictional learning examples. Curated posts credit their original publisher and link to the source. Flashcards help students review key terms, business management toolkit tools, and command terms through card flipping, quizzes, and spaced review.

In the Case Study Lab, students read fictional business scenarios, attempt questions, compare their work with model points, and reflect on what they learned. The IA Studio helps students organize their Internal Assessment with a roadmap, research question workshop, document tracker, tool matcher, criteria self-check, word budget, and timeline planner. It offers guidance and planning tools, not writing services: students must produce their own assessed work and follow their school's rules.

Public study resources do not require a student account. Study progress and IA plans are stored in your browser on your device rather than synced between devices. This is a teacher-built study aid, not an official IB publication; use it alongside your class materials and official guidance.
