NEW BUSINESS CONSEPT:
PRODUCT:
New project is a machine for making Omani bread with some additives which gives a wonderful
taste. The product will be quick to prepare, soft, preservative free and also at the same price and
size as the products on the overseas market (0.350 Bz). The product will consist of dough made
by women of Omani nationality with 100% healthy and Omani character. Note that this meal is
one of the leading meals in Oman.
TRGET MARKET:
In the first three years, the plan will be to invest in only one machine. It should be in a place of full
of people who don’t have time to rest in the restaurant or don’t have time to wait until they get their
meal from the crowded restaurants. Also the place should be vital for at least two-thirds of the day.
In addition, the place has expensive restaurants as this helps to reduce the number of competitors.
So we chose to start at Muscat Grand Mall due to its offices and an active commercial center.
Why this project for Omani bread?
This machine will help the office staff, the mall staff and consumers (visitors to the mall) to save
the cost of food, especially at breakfast. Also, it helps to reduce the waiting time and provide
delicious healthy Omani food. On the other hand, the project helps to save some of the company’s
operating costs such as renting a large shop, labor and government permits.
Special feature:
So far, there is no machine that makes Omani bread, according to our study. There is no restaurant
inside the malls that offers this type of food. This makes us distinct and far from competitors.
2
Feasibility study:
The business plan is a written manuscript to accomplish the work and analyze the possibilities and
strategies required to achieve the goal, including analysis of industry, marketing, economics,
development and company expectations.
A feasibility study is a preliminary assessment of works to determine whether the business idea is
feasible or the opposite. The following is a feasibility study for the idea of Omani Bread Maker
Machine. The analysis of the business idea is divided into four main areas as follows.
Concept statement:
The concept of our idea is to create a kind of fast food machine similar to cold drinks machine that
would make an Omani traditional food “Rikhal bread” for the time been at any place that fit
for(applicable for the machine size), than adding other kind of food can be made. Furthermore, the
general purpose of our idea consists on creating a source of income that has high level of
expectation to success due to competitive advantage where it considered as a new idea to provides
a traditional famous Omani food at fast time in modern markets, organizations & in governmental
authorities. However, at the beginning the team decide to focus on buying one of the customize
machine from local factory & than testing the product in Muscat Grand Mall to determine
customers’ acceptance of Omani food made by Bread maker machine. Through the evaluation
we got an average of 4

Product or service feasibility analysis
The product is a machine for making Omani bread consumed by Omani citizens as well as
foreigners in Oman, the machine can be really manufactured similar to cold drinks machine with
a certain customization & Omani local market has a very demand on such bread. The machine
enables customers to purchase Omani bread with add-ons of choice such as chocolate, honey or
cheese. Employees in the business districts suffer from high prices and time constraints, and have
a great desire to have a product that saves them time and money there for it is favorable for
employees to get low price “Rikhal Bread” which made by high quality machine that make our
product within 1 minute due to the recent economic situation and low individual income. The high
prices cause them to panic from the restaurants. Through the evaluation we got an average of 2
Because of the technological advancement, as a comparison with normal restaurants the machine
will help to reduce the time and money for the insolvent employees and save our company the cost
of the staff and the increase in rent prices because it does not need much space. Although, we do
believe that people always excited to try & test new meals especially Omani traditional meals that
made fast & available at any place (within organizations) with low cost, therefore it is going to
be a positive feature that make consumer desire our product.
Industry or target market analysis
Since the company will be established in Oman, and since the products sold are not new in this
country, the study of the target market is absolutely essential. The location of our product should
be obtained to ensure that the one of the most significant factors that helps in the establishment of
this project are obtained. The first factor is the availability of purchasing power; the product must
be in a place full of target customers, such as offices, commercial buildings, corporate buildings
and commercial centers.
Therefore, we have chosen the starting point of Muscat Grand Mall to include a large number of
companies and customers, while at the same time it is difficult for competitors to enter the market.
In addition, Muscat Grand Mall administration is known to support Omani startups.

Mainly in matter of competitive power factor, by the time been our idea to have an Omani Bread
Maker Machine has not implemented by any one yet so for the beginning we could have high
competitive power. However, in long term we expect to face very high completion from others
therefore we set a plan to develop mobile phone app specified for our product through its customers
can choose their meal & the time they want to take their meal. Moreover, additional feature we are
planning to implement which is Artificial intelligence which will be asking the users some
questions that will improve suggested meals and it would provide advices on healthiest meals for
the user based on his medical history. In General, applying new techniques before other
competitors and increasing our customer loyalty defiantly will move prevent competitors form
appearing. Through the evaluation we got an average of 3
Organizational feasibility
Regulatory feasibility is linked to the ability of the project to achieve the greatest success, given
that the product is in high demand in the region, the company must have the ability to provide the
required support in short time and the ability to organize and manage the project efficiently. This
is linked to the team’s ingenuity in saving resources and acquiring the market. In addition, the
company has sufficient resources to adequately cover the needs of the project. The project
management and marketing prowess makes the product in a competitive advantageous situation.
Through the evaluation we got an average of 0
Financial feasibility
By default, the company estimated all costs associated with production and marketing to reach the
target group. In addition, the costs required for start-up and other business expenses were
examined.

As for the return, it is difficult to compare our business to other kind of business because it would
create new segment the can be called “machine based restaurant” .On the other hand, restaurants
& coffees might be the nearest by businesses that would be
However, in matter of pricing we would set the percentage of profit at a very minimum percentage
in aim to attract customers. According to the profit expectation, for first 6 months the company
won’t get any additional profit, just trying to mitigate the income with the expenses, but gradually
with the increase of demand and sold bread after 6th month a small amount of profit would be
generated monthly. So by the end of first year we would generated enough amount that is going
to be sufficient to cover business regular expenses as well as covering about half of required
amount for expanding . Through the evaluation we got an average of -3
Overall assessment:
By comparing the project with the strength of demand, we can conclude that the project will not
be profitable for a period ranging from year to year and half. The project can be expanded in the
case of external support while the desire to invest so that it is considered a profitable and relatively
inexpensive project. The project can maintain the purchasing power through marketing and in line
with the market price.
Through the proposed evaluation, the result was positive with three aspects, one neutral and one
negative. This shows that the project has some difficulties, especially in financial terms, but the
project still promises continued success and profitability. After this study, we suggest that the
remaining procedures of the project should be continued, but the necessary material caution should
be taken.
