We’re looking for 3 volunteers to support our planned marketing and communications activity for 2023-24. Our volunteers will help promote the work of Social Enterprise Scotland and our membership, identify key news stories, and raise awareness of opportunities for social enterprises.
What will you be doing?
- Help us put together our weekly newsletter by gathering news stories from our database and opportunities from our members and organisations across the social enterprise sector.
- Writing and creating content for social media and our website, ensuring it complies with policies and guidelines.
- Keeping our sector jobs page updated.
- Providing support for our Buy Social Scotland initiatives.

What are we looking for in a volunteer?
- A keen interest in marketing and communications.
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
- Good IT skills and access to your own computer.
- A minimum commitment of 2-3 hours per week for at least 3 months.
This role could be done remotely or from our office in central Edinburgh and we’d be happy to have a chat about any additional needs or support you may require.
No formal marketing experience is required.
