Overview:
HSBC is hiring an experienced Associate at their Bangalore location. The role holder will be involved in BCC or other governance meeting packs production BAU team, part of BLR Controls Office MI function which is part of the Global Markets Front Office. The role holder will ensure the HSBC values are present in everything we do, both individually and as an organization.

What will you be doing:
Production of BCC / Meeting Packs- Collation of data: preparation of common packs; continuous improvement of inbound data through negotiation with data providers as well as outbound pack quality.
Production of Customer Feedback MI for Country, asset class and regions globally
Org Structure Hierarchy Maintenance.
Ensure adherence to correct HSBC processes and protocols
Ensure all queries from stakeholders are dealt with in a complete and timely fashion.
Should be able to support allied controls monitoring processes around Broker Process, Mobile Phone Breaches, Outside Activity & Mandated Leaves, etc.
Support the Control Officers with any relevant MI required for their governance forums.
Support other specific tasks or projects related to Controls MI or other initiatives within the Controls Office as directed by management.
Qualifications for this Job:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proven organizational, planning, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and team building skills.
Experience in supporting & collaborating on global process with internal/ external stakeholders across several countries and building new process from the scratch.
Appreciation of financial industry and key regulation on the financial markets practices.
Good understanding of Investment Banking products and functions.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field such as business or finance;
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage their expectations.
Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels in the organization including Senior management community – Asset class and Regional Chief Control officers, MSS Chief Control Officer, COOs and associated resources.
Ability to turn around deliverables with short lead time and be able to work with different cultural groups to build consensus.
Previous experience in an operational risk or internal control function is required.
What Skills are Needed:
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Advanced Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, Advanced VBA and MS Access Database skills etc.
Proficient in analytical tools like Tableau.
Good understanding of Risk and Control framework and the operational aspects underpinning Control processes
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage their expectations
Motivated and dynamic, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to urgent requests
Ability to work closely with team members and collaborate with colleagues globally
Confident and comfortable with reporting tools and databases, able to quickly to learn new systems
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a structured, organized approach to work
