About
Epicenter was launched with a vision of a vibrant, inclusive Memphis, where innovation and entrepreneurship fuel individual and family wealth for the founder, transformational success for the business, and growth for the regional economy, and where our entrepreneurial community reflects our citizens.
Today, Epicenter exists to promote and activate Memphis innovation and high-growth entrepreneurship.
Together with partners, Epicenter delivers high-impact resources to entrepreneurs who are using technology to solve challenges in the Memphis region, and supports the growth of the surrounding innovation ecosystem.
The team works out of the organization’s incubator space in the heart of downtown Memphis, which also hosts coworking members, workshops, and networking events.
The news
This year, Epicenter launched a Memphis Hub Accelerator Program in partnership with Alchemist, a venture-backed initiative focused on accelerating the development of early-stage ventures that create tech-based solutions for other businesses.
The Memphis Hub Accelerator Program is Alchemist’s first U.S. location outside of Silicon Valley, and it streamlines access to the Alchemist Accelerator for firms that are either located in Memphis or that are interested in relocating and/or opening a new office in the region because of potential customers or industries located there.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the next cohort starts in August.
Together with Ford Motor Company Fund, Heartland Forward, Builders + Backers, and theCO (our LaunchTN Network Partner in Jackson!), Epicenter is proud to announce the opening of applications for a second cohort of 20 West Tennessee residents to access training, resources, and up to $5,000 to help them turn ideas into potential businesses or ventures.

Epicenter is also partnering with Memphis-area Society of Entrepreneurs to co-host What’s Next, a lunch series featuring local startups in new technologies like AI, robotics, and more.
