TeachAids is proud to welcome Dianna Fahel, former Director of Marketing & Communications at the Brain Injury Association of America, to the CrashCourse Advisory team.
Through her work at BIAA, Fahel spent seven years advocating for better understanding and improved access to care for individuals with brain injuries, including concussions. During her tenure at BIAA, Fahel spearheaded the internationally recognized, awareness campaign and expanded BIAA’s award-winning online Resource Center. She also served as editor-in-chief of THE Challenge! news magazine and as managing editor of the ACBIS Insider e-newsletter.
Fahel worked with TeachAids to launch the CrashCourse Concussion Story Wall in 2021 and is now joining TeachAids as a Brand Strategy Advisor. She brings her comprehensive understanding of the brain injury community and its unique needs to our team. She is passionate about improving global education on brain injury and its many causes – from sports injuries to domestic violence – to help individuals understand when and how to seek care.

Dianna Fahel is a communications strategist specializing in growth and consumer engagement. As the former Director of Marketing and Communications at the Brain Injury Association of America, Fahel spent seven years working to advance education, understanding, and access to care for individuals with brain injuries, including concussions. She spearheaded the internationally recognized More Than My Brain Injury awareness campaign and expanded BIAA’s award-winning online Resource Center. During her tenure at BIAA, Fahel was editor-in-chief of THE Challenge! newsmagazine and edited several publications including the revised Essential Brain Injury Guide 5.0, Brain Injury Fundamentals Training Workbook, and Moderate to Severe Brain Injury: A Practical Guide for Families. Fahel is currently based in Toronto, Canada.
