Local mother and business owner, Lauren Jenkins will be featured in the upcoming season of “The Blox” — a reality web TV show often described as a mix of “Shark Tank” and “The Apprentice,” filmed in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“I am so excited about this opportunity,” said Jenkins. “I am looking forward to meeting other small business owners, and be mentored by multimillionaire business owners who will coach us on how to grow our businesses, and what to do differently to grow even more.”
Jenkins is the founder and owner of Erth Apparel, a boutique with trendy, casual, and comfortable but chic apparel and accessories for women, located in downtown Paris.
“I started Erth Apparel three years ago to not only provide for myself and my family, but also to provide inspiration, support and encouragement.”
One of the only stores in Lamar County that carries a wide range of athletic apparel, Jenkins expanded her business to Paris Fitness and Aquatics in 2022 with a “pop-up shop” inside of the gym.
“I love Paris and the network of other small business owners here and having this opportunity to be on ‘The Blox’ will not only allow me to bring what I learn back to Paris and apply it to Erth Apparel but also potentially be able to help out other small businesses in Paris or future female entrepreneurs.”
