The Marketing & Communications Intern will help enable the growth of Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH) Foundation to drive revenue and maximize public awareness and exposure through optimizing and growing the Foundation’s traditional and digital strategies as part of the overall Marketing & Communication plan.
This role is a paid, 4-9 month internship for rising undergraduate students that are interested in working in marketing, public relations and fundraising.

Work Schedule:
3-5 days/week, Monday to Friday days (09:00-17:00). Schedule is negotiable. There may be opportunities to attend fundraising events/initiatives which may take place outside of regular business hours. Hybrid Work Approach may be an opportunity.
Compensation:
$18.00/hour
Who we are:
Established in 1989, the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation has continuously raised funds to support health care for the more than 400,000 residents of Markham, Stouffville and the surrounding communities.
To meet the growing needs of the community, and thanks to tremendous support from generous donors throughout the years, the MSH Foundation has funded capital expenditures for equipment, IT infrastructure, and a major expansion and renovation project for Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Government funding can’t cover the cost of all critical life-saving equipment and top priority needs. Generous donor support is essential to the exceptional care that MSH patients can receive close to home.
Today, health care is changing at a rapid pace. The way the hospital cares for patients now will not be the way it cares for patients in the future. The MSH of tomorrow must transform health care for our rapidly growing, aging and diverse community.
As the Foundation for Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital. we are a supportive hand for our community and our hospital. The relationship between our donors and the hospital goes hand in hand – each caring for the other in the best possible way.
