**Qualifications**

This is an exciting opportunity for Senior Marketing Communications Specialists #IN1007 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

+ Interpret marketing information relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks and leverage analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive business insights.

+ Compile, analyze, and utilize marketing metrics, data, and analytics.

+ Prepare reports on findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.

+ Build, contribute to, and execute strategic communications planning including marketing promotional plans.

+ Participate in tactical execution of marketing and communications plans and identify and contribute to process improvement and functional excellence.

+ Maintain project, account, and vendor management, and solve non-routine cross-functional problems.

+ Write, edit, and create content and strategic messaging to represent and champion the Cummins brand.

+ Maintain and support budgets and financials. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.

+ Attend conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products and services.

+ Lead event preparation and execution and build strong customer relationships by delivering customer-centric solutions to problems.

+ Create competitive advantage through brand recognition, position the brand to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations, and apply brand standards to create a consistent perception and defend the company’s reputation as part of Brand Management.

+ Leverage current and emerging digital media strategies and content management systems to influence buyer behavior or target audiences to a desired action.

+ Apply creative communication design tools and media types to create effective, high-quality visual and experiential media in a compelling way that engages target audiences.

+ Identify needs of global channel partners to support customer more effectively as part of Channel Awareness. Utilize Customer Market Profitability Tools during account management to deliver to customer expectations.

+ Drive Customer Focus Six Sigma initiatives, measure customer satisfaction, and create action plans to improve satisfaction based on data.

**Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:**

+ Positions require a Master’s degree in Marketing or related field and 2 years of experience as a Marketing or Communications Analyst, or related position.

+ Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and 5 years of experience as a Marketing or Communications Analyst, or related position.

JOB SITE: Indianapolis, Indiana

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

**Compensation and Benefits**

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
