(USA-TN-Chattanooga) Enterprise Marketing & Communications Intern

The Enterprise Marketing & Communications Intern will be responsible for assisting in planning, creating and distribution of content for internal communications for the enterprise. This position will support internal communications along with management of the company store, including ordering promotional items for the Sales teams. This role will help facilitate the creation of lines of communications between team members and management, giving team members a voice, listening to feedback, and encourages team members’ active participation in events. This role will also support event coordination for internal events.

• Execute communications via email, Covenant Connect, Driver App, and other internal communication platforms.

• Work with SMEs to gather and complete project intake requests, including ordering promotional and/or branded items for events/conferences.

• Assist with various marketing and sales activities.

• Support the execution of internal & external events.

• Maintain and assist in opportunities to apply for recognizing awards Covenant qualifies for.

• Gather and populate necessary forms and surveys and ensure submission deadlines are met.

• Assists with management of the company store, including regular inventory counts and ordering of products for any department within the enterprise.

• Assists with rebranding needs as requested for new buildings.

• Support content/graphic design needs for internal and external communications as needed.

• Take photos/videos as needed for marketing and enterprise needs.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Bachelor’s Degree path in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience required.

• Experience in graphic design preferred.

• Experience with customer relationship management and marketing automation tools preferred.
